Projects

Every piece of work in VocaSync is a project — here's how they're organized and tracked.

Organizing your work

Create, name, and browse projects from the Projects area. Filter by status or type and search by name to find past work. Projects fall into two kinds:

  • Standalone services — a single synthesis, alignment, transcription, or translation.
  • Workflow bundles — multi-stage Subtitling or Dub-Prep pipelines.

Lifecycle & status

Each project moves through clear states you can watch in real time:

  • Pending — queued and waiting to start.
  • Processing — running, with stage labels and progress for multi-chunk work.
  • Completed — finished, with artifacts ready to download.
  • Failed — see Troubleshooting for what to do next; failed work isn’t charged.

Artifacts & downloads

Completed projects produce downloadable artifacts, varying by service:

  • Synthesis — MP3, AAC, OPUS, FLAC, or WAV audio.
  • Alignment — JSON, SRT, and WebVTT.
  • Transcription — TXT and JSON.
  • Translation — JSON, SRT, and WebVTT (refined and unrefined where applicable).

Download from the project, or share artifacts publicly with publishable keys. Files are stored until you delete them.
