Billing & credits
Pure pay-as-you-go — buy credits up front and spend them as you go. No subscriptions.
How you pay
VocaSync is pay-as-you-go: you top up a credit balance and each service deducts from it as you use it. There are no recurring subscriptions, and credits don’t expire. Payments are handled securely by Stripe and every top-up generates an invoice.
The free tier
With a payment card on file, every account gets a monthly allowance:
- 10 minutes / month of forced alignment.
- 1,000 characters / month of standard speech synthesis.
Allowances reset monthly. Transcription, translation, and High Fidelity synthesis are not part of the free tier.
Charges & refunds
Standalone services are charged on successful completion. Workflow bundles are charged upfront on estimated duration, with any failed stage refunded.

Usage tracking
The Billing dashboard shows your real-time balance, remaining free-tier allowances, payment-method status, top-up history, and usage broken down by service and date. You can also set a low-balance alert so you’re warned before you run out.
